Talking painting a bike frame

I have my very first racing bike frame still its a Trek 8000 SLR. Its an Aluminum frame. I wanted to paint it myself not sure what color, but I have an air brush and was wondering what type of paint I should use, also were I could get it. Thanks

Most people who spray frames (professionally) use auto paints from an auto paint store. An air brush may be a little small, unless you're going to paint graphics on the frame.

The paint is only going to look as good as the amount of time and effort you put into surface prep. The better the metal looks before paint, the better the paint job will look.
