Default Shoe fit question

So, I just ordered a pair of SIDIs from jenson. Got em in the mail, and they're snug, particularly next to my big toe. If I ride in them to get the real test, I won't be able to return them.

So, should I return and go one size up? Or keep them, and take my chances?

the old adage applies...
If the shoe fits....wear it.

Jonny cochran would say....
If the shoe dont fit.... You must acquit.... a quit your bitchin and send em back!

YO BOSTON!!!

Get one size up! Once you start riding, your feet will "swell up" from increased blood flow. Better a bit loose than snug in my opinion. If TOO loose, put on two socks!

Buy your shoes from your LBS so you get ones that fit. Nothing.....NOTHING is worse than a pair of shoes that are too big or too small.

YEAH, like he said, poorly fitted shoes suck. Find a LBS that will price match what you are paying PLUS shipping to be fair and cut a local deal!

Allright, I'm sending 'em back. Even with shipping I beat the lbs on price (its sale).

On a side note, I ate it hard on a ride Wednesday, and I blame it on the 29" wheels. Discuss.

I say you get the rid of the big wheels. Or maybe not.
I think it would be cool to get a 29'er just for fun
but everyone knows 26"ers are the real men's bikes

It is impossible to crash on a 29'er

No, its possible. Should I dig up the video Dee .

I'm going back to the source. Where it all started.

Giant Riegn baby .

I'm keeping the SS 29er too though.

And in a strange twist of fate, I have derailed my own thread.

Dude, I had 29er shoes, 29er camelback, 29er gloves, the whole deal. The only explanation for my crash has to be the wheels

ond reproach*.

If the webstore is in California, you DO pay tax. So, eliminating the shipping is truly leveling the playing field.

I own four pairs of Sidis, in three different sizes. The thing is, they each fit perfect. You have to try them on before you buy. By the way, some Sidis come in half sizes and some do not. Good luck.

understood.

He is in boston, jenson is in CA.

The end price to the buyer is:
Local: Price + Tax
Mail order: Price + Ship (+ tax if applicable).

its already a level playing field (tax vs shipping)

Just my opinion. And off topic at that.

Do people from Boston remember to take out the balled up sheets of recycled paper inside the shoe before trying on the shoe? Just playin man. Yeah, one size up or you will have a nice swollen toe. Thanks for the words of encouragement with your 29er crash cause I'm building one.

Yeah, I'm going half a size up.

The 29er is much better suited for CA, IMO. So you should be fine.
