Ricky... I would not reccomend SPD pedals.. They are cool, but as the springs on the pedals wear out, you have to crank the tightness down, and then its super tough to clip in, but you can still pop out on accident.
I wonder if you could use like a Speedplay road pedal...? THey have 15(?) or so degrees of float, and super easy to clip into.. the wide cleat also gives a wide base of support

Disregaurd this. I had a talk with Lee and decided that it may have just been a bad SPD pedals i got. And no Speedplays

yeah... that same argument applies to CB pedals.
as those springs wear out, you cannot tension them more....

but, i have myself experienced the need to tighten them up, but have an occasional accidental pop out.... It was worn cleats.....

mtnbikerdavid tried to unclip from mine with good cleats and fell over LOL

But they usually break before they wear out.

But their customer service is said to be very good. Doesn't CB even swap out pedals for everyone in need on trail?

Used to ride SPDs... swtiched to Time ATACs three years ago, and I love them. Zero maintance, easy in and out.

One thing: they took some getting used to at first. Not suer if the pedals needed to be broken in, or the disengagment is different than the SPDs, but I almost got rid of them at first.
