Default Local Magura Dealers

I'm looking for a Socal (LA/OC) Magura dealer to check on the availability of some disc brake mounts. I just put some Louise on my Yeti and I dont think I will be going back to Avid anytime soon. I would like to run some smaller rotors-these things are powerful!

No local dealers, but I have some that may work for you. Tell me exactly what you want to do and I may have the right part for you.

Right now I have Louise FR on my Yeti 575. They are very strong and I would like to go with a 180mm rotor in front (203mm now) and a 160mm in the rear (180mm now). I have rotors but I need the adapters. According to the Magura website I should be able to use adapter #12 for both apps. Do you know if this is correct?

One of the most underrated brakes on the market.

For adators, it depends which calipers you have.

I had a hell of a time getting the right adapters when I went from 180 to 203

Call Magura directly in IL. They also sell direct if no one local has them in stock.

You may want to check into switching out the hose fitting on the front caliper. With my set-up it was really goofy. I went with a banjo fitting for a much cleaner routing.

I agree Cal Epic. I never heard too much noise about them but they bolted on with no problem, and the worked like a charm from the first ride. I'll check with Magura direct and see what they say.

Magura have been the best brakes I've ever had. I'm running the Marta's, but not the highend ones. I'm not going to pay the extra 75 bucks for carbon fiber levers. These have been trouble free except when I forgot to check them before we did the Plunge last year (Oops, first and only time that has ever happened).

I recently went through this. What type calipers do you have? Post mount or IS?

Post mounts bolt directly into the leg of the fork as the other type, bolts go through the spokes. ( imagine )

Let me know, I may have the solution for you. I have extra adaptors for different applications.

I am hooked on Magura and will not change, although I have El Camino on my SS.
