Hey guys, i live in South OC, Rancho Santa Margarita, and i need to get some work done on my bike, the problem is i don't know what bike shop to go to. I bought the bike used, private party, so no LBS experience. I really dont like big chain stores like Performance.
Unless i have to.![]() Does anyone have any shops they've gone to in the area and would recommend. Thanks... |

Bike Co has some good mechanics. Terry has always worked on my bike and done a good clean job.
BikeCo is off Bake in Lake Forest.

The Path Bikeshop is the best shop around, period. I order from them often and am always impressed with their service. Many friends are locals there and I cant wait to visit em in person......how many places you can find 29ers, King hubs of all colors, ENO cranks, etc.....they kick arse

Ditto the Fo'
The Path in Tustin is worth the extra miles. Although I wrench most of my own stuff, the parts I do get are from them or Rock and Road in Laguna. I have also done business with The Bike Co. and they have never steered me wrong as well.

I'd have to say The Path is your best bet, and R'n'R in M.V. is good too (Laguna Niguel is better). A friend of mine got the runaround (replacing seals on a Bomber) from the Bike Co., and they were kinda dicks about it. No flaming chilis for them.
