Vince, I have the Surly SS one. I took it off and went back to a QR type. I'll look and see if I still have it. I may have put it on one of the bikes we build to donate though.

So, who sells this Sin-tays product?

Anyone use the Surly Stainless clamp?
I have the regular Surly clamp on my Long Haul Trucker (not the Constrictor) and it was slipping all the time. I cranked it down as much as possible and I still question whether it's slipping or not.

I had the same problem on my Heckler. Once I replaced it with a Hope clamp, I haven't thought about it since.

Thanks for everyone's input. It seems Hope is the most popular non-Salsa clamp. After a lot of searching, I've finally found the perfect clamp for my application...oh so chic.

It's made by one of the top German weight weenie companies: Tune. Most of their stuff has rider weight limitations.
http://www.tune.de/

All of their stuff comes at a cost though. I believe this post clamp is about $65. I just emailed the U.S. distributor in NM and hope to hear back soon.

I am just glad he tore up his Homer card. Now if he could ditch the big hoops I would be set!

Whatever seat post collar you buy, it will never be complete without a Jenson wisecracker bottle opener:
