I have an 07 Enduro SL upgraded to 08 suspension. I've up'd the dampening pressure to max (65lbs) in the fork, this helped some. But I still have this problem - if I run it near or within the recommended sag it rides too low in the suspension and feels sloppy with little dampening, and jumps like poop (I enjoy leaving the ground, and the front wheel dropping out is not cool). When I run it firmer/less sag it feels better but the bump compliance lacks. Dialing this fork has been a serious work in progress. With that said, I'm ready to go a different route. Does anybody have recommendations for an alternative fork? I'm considering the 55ATA or ETA, Fox 36 Talas or maybe the Lyrik. Any input from someone that has dealt with this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have no experience with the speshy fork, so I can't offer any advice or recco on it, but, I recently purchased an 08 36 talas rc2. Coming from a 32 talas rlc, this fork was just the next progression in dialability, plushness, firmness. I mean, it was real easy to get dialed, I didn't have a problem when trying to dial out brake dive and having it effect small bump sensitivity. I find this fork very user friendly, it only took a couple a bit of trail riding to adjust everything and have it set up to my liking...
Sorry about the speshy fork, good luck with your search. |

Magura Wotan would be my first choice. 160-120 remote adjustable and plush right out of the box.
Fox Talas 36 would be my second choice I have heard good things about the RS Lyric The recent stuff from Zoke leaves a lot to be desired. I think it would be a good idea to go with a travel adjustable fork since you are losing the "brain" in the Spesh e150. That way you would still be able to climb by winding the fork down. |

Speak to Carla at the Path (or her bloke) - she had a Fox 36 on the front and a DHX Coil on the back of hers.
I recently had my 07 E150 upgraded to 08 spec and the results are as you say - have you tried altering the pressure in the spike valve in the other leg? That will help with your problem. Either way 08 spec is alot better than 07, the less said about that the better.

It was nice to be able to adjust the fork down for climbs and let it out for descents, that's for sure.I never did experience the Spesh fork, since I bought the Enduro frame alone and transferred my existing parts over from a previous bike. |

Loving the Lyrik Solo Air on my Pitch, which is nearly the same frame as the Enduro. If you want adjustable travel (not that important to me), however, you might want to consider the coil version with U-Turn.
