Default To PUSH or not to PUSH

Ok, I have an 06 Talas RL that needs to be sent to Fox...OR I could send it to PUSH. Anyone have any thoughts....(That was rhetorical, I know there is a wealth of knowledge on STR!)

From many account, Push is an expensive way for your fork to do the same thing it does now. Here's another account: Another take on PUSH.

What needs to be done?

Have you considered Garage Works in Irvine? I took my fork there and the turn around was less than a week.

The guy at RnR said that my "Talas timing is off"...???

Basically, when I adjust the travel down to climb, then want to open it up again the shock does not extend with me stopping and pushing the crown downward with my hand.

Default Sorry bajamtnbiker

Very strange, but I posted almost the exact same question as bajamtnbiker did a few days ago. I'll read your thread.

I had the same problem with my '07 fork. When I got it back from Fox it was only slightly better. I learned to live with it until I took my fork to Garage Works. I took it there for an overhaul/mantenance and now the adjustable travel works better than when it was new.

All this guys is is a good writer. He had no evidence against PUSH except that he couldn't afford to send his shit in. I haven't had a shock pushed yet but his bitchy blog isn't going to stop me.

uh, unless I'm mistaken, TD rides rigid forks only, so it's just a pun and not related to experience.

PUSH Industries

I think all your answers are here. Or give Tani (the path) a call and ask him about PUSH. He commented in the above thread also.
