Default Bike Shop Help - Broken x-9 shifter bar clamp!!!!!

I snapped the handlebar clamp on my front trigger shifter. They are 2007 X-9 trigger shifters with just the clamp (no inticator). I over tightened it when I swapped out handle bars and snapped the piece.
Contacted an LBS here in the East Pasadena area and they were able to special order one. Does anyone have them in stock so I don't have to wait for like two weeks? I am doing the Fully Loop Ride tonight and would like to have it fixed today.
In the mean time, I will be creatively zip tying the shifter to my brake lever.

You've been around this site long enough. You should have known that was a sign that you're now supposed to convert your bike to a singlespeed and free yourself from the frustrations of all things related to derailleurs, shifters, and gears.

Enjoy the ride!

what brakes do you have.... it might be your opportunity to consider getting the matchmakers for it

No, LBS already asked that. I have BB7's with Shimano XT Levers. Good idea though.
I just called Adrenaline and they said they had one for me. So hopefully I can swing in then hit up the Fully Loop in time.
