Default To PUSH or Not to PUSH?

I have an 06 Stumpy with a Fox Float RL fork, I had it service at least twice in the last couple of years because of oil leak, every time they change the regular seals and now is leaking again, not that bad but leaking.
Should I try the Eduro seals or forget about it and Push it? Any one had done it, any luck?

Thumbs up

I've had several shocks done by Darin at Push. You can have it set to factory specs or they have their own modifications.... so good, infact, that Fox has changed their design as well. Plus, you'll get it back so much quicker. Hard to go wrong here.

Pretty sure that I've never heard anyone say, "Wow, I wish I hadn't had this shock/fork PUSH'd".

Very good point. Same reasoning behind - 'I've never heard a mac owner say they didn't like their computer.'

I say go for it!

I don't know about PUSHing your fork but I do know about Enduro seals. I like them. The only problem is there is a breakin period on the seals. During this time people don't like the sticky feeling of the fork. But once they do free up they are nice. They seal real well which keeps the fork oil cleaner for longer in addition to keeping the stantions clean.

There's always an exception. It just proves the rule.

EDIT: I should have put this post in the "Pulpit" forum along with the clipless pedal threads!

That is my point, if I only want to stop the leaks the Enduro seals will do it but to have it Push'd is about $100 more? And everybody saids is worth it.

Jorge, you are simply relentless!
You are to Macs what Dino is to Iron Horse, what Crash is to the Path and Jack is to Jack-In-The-Box. All pea's in a pod!

The tech manual will tell you both how to disassemble & re-assemble.

Actually I can say that. I had the RP3 on my Yeti 575 PUSHed and I really didn't do anything. The bike hardly bobbed as it was. The replacement of rubber seals with urethane is a plus but that can be done for much less that the full treatment I paid for. Now on my older model Enduro it worked magic. They do good work and I don't want to paid them in a bad light. I think it really depends on the bike.

Default The Path?

I'm sure PUSH is great, but, I brought my gushing '03 Float fork to the Path and got it back in 3 days. Still as good as new!

Good luck!

My Socom is Pushed all the way around and it is by far the best handling bike I have ever owned or tested.
I tune my Uzzi based on how my Socom handles. I can get it really close.
Every bike the I have tested that has been pushed handled great.

I can rebuild my own forks and shocks but i think when the Uzzi gets tired I will be calling Push. Let the guys who have spent the time researching new valving technology's.
