Default How to remove a chain, the correct way.

In this process, the derailluer might suffer as well.

Step 1: Go for a street session before dinner.

Step 2:Ride down the street and hit a few curb jumps.

Step 3: Land perfectly and listen for the sound of CARNAGE.

Does anyone else think that thing is in the wrong position?

By jumping over one of those "jumps" that two driveways' slopes make. Landed, and knew it was bad.

Ah, I thought so. At least the cable-end held together!

BTW that butt connector worked better than the silly metal ones that came with my cable!

i got the wrong idea of this thread.
One time to get a chain off before i got a chain tool, i got a hammer and went away on the chain for 20 minutes until it finally gave.
Yes, it was an old frame, and no, i didnt touch the frame wiht the hammer
