Default Mavic TN719 Niner rim

Anyone built these up yet? 19mm wide, 32 or 36 hole drilling... eyelet design.

Im struggling to find a burly but light wheel that uses eyelets for my niners.....

All opinions are welcome

Stans rims and velocity rims dont use eyelets. Thats kind of a downer.....i dont want the rims to crack at the eyelets.

i still might buy these for my backup wheelset, but no experience with them so far... there were a few guys on the other site that have been running them for a while with no issues. they should also be round from the factory unlike stan's rims

i went to adrenaline... talked to neil. Looks like we are going with DT TK7.1 rims. they dont make a mtb 36 hole, and neil abuses teh crap out of them on 32 holes....

but this mavic looks interesting.

Why not go with the Mavic's again? They are lighter and have eyelets.

i think pugzie just got a wheelset built up with those mavic rims at Adrenaline. not in a 29er though. he really likes them. unless he was lying to me. which i don't think he'd do.

tubeless is for weight weenies

stans rims are for fools LOL JK(im sure they CAN make a decent rim.... but the lack of eyelets, and the fact that i have heard stories of them breaking and being made out of round killed it for me)
