yes... but you have to grind a bit off the arms to keep the chain from hitting them. the Xtralite is the only 30T ring for 104BCD.
other options: middleburn w/5 arm spider or spiderless ring (custom as most SS rings are 32T) or some other SS cranks with spiderless ring (once again custom) the Xtralites look like this... ![]() correction on price.. i found one for 75 from an online place. i paid 80 for mine. |

See if you can wrap a chain around it before buying. Boone had a run of oversize cogs and I know one showed up on ebay.

A little late to the discussion but have you called AC Components?
They are local and make very nice rings. AC Components When you are on the page it can be confusing because it says the rings start at 36t but that is for the Holeshot rings and not the SS

I was running a 32T Salsa aluminum chainring initially with a 20T Titanium Boone cog in the back. I keep constant gauge on chain stretch and clean the drivetrain often to promote longer wear. However, a years worth of hammering the local trails pretty much rendered the load bearing portion of aluminum chainring tooth worn beyond continued use.
Seeing how the titanium Boone cog looked almost brand new and showed no wear, I saved up for a Boone 104 BCD 32T chainring and swapped the 20T cog for the 23T Boone. It was a big investment, but a worthwile one that should provide many years of service. Foo, don't go through all the trouble just to be able to use the 19T Boone cog, unless the chainring you get will be as durable.
