Slow Rider

First post here so go easy on me. I've been on mtbr.com for a while but am glad I found this site with local riders. I frequent Marshall Canyon the most and ride mostly solo. Ran into that huge ride with the Incycle tent a couple of weeks ago!
Does anyone have experience with running Vertical Pro UST 2.3 up front and Explorer UST 2.1 in the back? How would that do at Marshall in your opinion? I run Panaracer Fire UST on both and they are fine for now, but wouldn't mind it a little wider up front. Thanks! |

I ride Marshall, the Loop, Webb all the time.Sorry, I have no tire info for you since I'm not tubeless yet. But I sure did like my tubed Panaracers. I don't think the Continentals come in colors! Hope to see you on the trail! |

Vertical Pro 2.3 UST is more like 2.1 Kenda Nevegals. Thin sidewalls. I ripped 2 tires in a couple of months doing rock gardens. Now I stay away from Continentals.
Schwalbe Albert UST has become my tire of choice for tubeless tires. |

As for the Vertical Pros UST, I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on them. I got the Explorer UST for dirt cheap and thought I could get its big brother up front for trial. |

I ride Marshall at least once a week and I'm running regular Vertical Pros front and rear converted with Stans. I like them WAY better than the Nevigals that I used to have on my bike if that means anything.
I'm riding Marshall on Thursday around 3:00 if you're interested.

I wish I could ride during the week. Got work and kids. Weekend warrior only. I do try to make the best out of both days and am normally at Marshall at least one of the days.
I tried the Nevegals 1.95 tubed a while back and hated them. Eventually put them on my Stumpjumper HT and sold the whole thing. |

Hi:
I've been running the Vertical Pros UST in the rear and Maxxis UST Highrollers in the front. Those Maxxis are heavy! The Pros though seal up well and I have never ripped a tire just yet. I would recommend a scoop of Stans sealant as well. |
