Default Grips

Ok just tore up my specialized grips...too many times OTBs. Any advice on something that will last and work well? I had some BMX A'mes on one bike for about 10 years, now these last about 6 months

I use the Oury lock ons, the grips are very soft and padded. They hold up well too, been using the same ones for years.

I dig my Yeti's but everytime I need to take off my grips for whatever reason (e.g. microadjusting like a lunatic) I swear that I'm going to get some lock-ons.

One tip with the lock-ons. Its super easy to strip those tiny bolts. Ive done it a couple times and its no fun sawing the lockons off

So just keep that in mind...

I vote for a Lock-On grip too. I have the Lizard Skin Lock-On's, "NorthShore" pattern and love them, they're awesome.

I've been using Oury's since '93, very good long-lasting grips. i went thru the specialized grips very quickly.

I have the Nothshore lizardskin lock-ons as well, they're beautiful! I had Tioga grips for a while but I am never going back the effort to get ordinary grips on and off just isn't worth it. and the wider diameter of the grip feels better.

I use the non-lock Qury's. Great grip for those with bigger hands.
I use a bit of spray paint before putting them on - No sliding at all.
