Also, if you put the STR sticker on the side, rather than the top, it should be out of the way of the main bashing. Or did you want it specifically on top?

How hard are they to find? (in decent condition)

The other stuff you can use is Lamin-X. Thats the stuff you stick on the healights to protect from chips.

I have the Lamix-X on my lights...its thicker than the clear bra.
ok i hate you for like 5 minutes... i love corrados, i almost bought one and regret not buying it

well, i am not sure on the position... main reason for change was i hated the yellowing chainprotctor on my bike right now. but, if i was going to change it anyways, i was thinking about getting a bigger one and may be put the socal sticker on the top and side? kinda like if on the top and side, so look alittle 3D? if you are standing off to the side, you shoudl be abel to see both side evenly and read it easily since the str sticker would be semi big?

protector over the whole thing would just be an added benefit, easpecially when i scrub down the bike from massive mud downhilling in my bike... hahahaha... and if i make the protector go all around, i think it would pratically look invisiable?

I would try the clear bra first. Its thinner and would go around the angles better. Its actually pretty durable. My cousin has the clear bra on his S2000. A piece of tire got flung up and hit his bumper...if the clear bra wasn't there...his bumper would have been cracked. The bumper will need a respray...but the damage was lessened with the bra.

yea, i think it will be good, there are no major features on my bike... i think it is a simple square bar... so wrapping it should be easy...

I tried 20mil clear bra material that I bought at stickercity.com and the chain ate right through it on the first ride (Intense Uzzi VPX) but that bike gets A LOT of chain slap. I ended up throwing a Lizard Skins wrap over it.

On my Blur 4x, I use clear heatshrink tubing. When you pull the dropout on that bike, you can slide on the tubing on to the chainstay and seatstay. The heatshrink's been holding up for over a year now with no problems.

Gratuitous picture of bike before more changes (Thomson post, flat pedals, ...) attached.
