I got it bad when I got my first bike, a Yukon as well. My problem was I was riding w/ guys that had Reigns and FSR Elites.
DSCN0811.jpg DSCN0814.jpg Don't get me wrong though, all the new stuff was worth it at the time. ![]()

I took a hit in the tailbone when I started out
, so I needed something more plush while I healed. It felt good for the time being, I guess I just got used to having it. Bought a Reign not too long ago and never got back to playing on the hardtail.

Your running will help with establishing a base fitness along with a crosstraining aspect, but riding a bike will uses a completely different set of muscles.Understanding things like "lactic threshhold" and such will help you define where you need work. One of the best things you can do is go to your local local bike shop and have your bike fitted.Next is to ride lots o' miles. My $.02 worth.See ya on the trails, good luck and have fun! -Lloyd
