So I have a 05 Stumpjumper that seems to be getting a little creaky on the back end. Anyone ever pull the back link and lube it? Should I just go to the LBS or maybe go for it at home?

If I remember correctly, some model years were notorious for destroying bearings.

Sounds like you are getting ready to lube up your back side.

There are some tricks to getting that to go away.
It starts with a micro oiler and some light oil.

i'm in the process of fixing that same thing on my demo dh bike.... it got much worse lately. i'm basically taking apart the swing arm and cleaning and lubing all the pivots and shock mounts.
