I run 30 psi up front and 32 psi in the back. Keep in mind though that this is on a tubeless setup. I am using the 2.55 weirwolf lt up front and a 2.35 rampage in the back. Becuase the SB8 has less volume I would think you would have to run it a tad higher....closer to 35 psi would probably be good.

What type of riding do you do? Tech ST or mostly fireroad?

155 Lbs. 27up front 30 in the back. Rigid fork. Nevagal tires. Any more pressure and I start to bounce around like a pinball.

I've run the SB8's front and back at 30-32 if it's a bit rocky.... add more sand and I'll run them lower at 26-28. I run the Neves at 22-26 depending on conditions.... play around with the pressures as the trail conditions changes.

PS: I weigh in at 150 and tend to ride very light.

I've run them from 30 to 45 psi with a tube and the sidewalls feel flimsy no matter what pressure I run. I can feel them roll over on tight turns or on fast rocky sections.

Brew, that's not the tires. It's your bike's automatic mudhole-seeking feature.

Friends don't let friends ride Small Block 8s in the San Gabriels.

This is the trail that I have ridden many times. I got lazy and did not take the SB off the rear after a slickrock trip. SB's braking power has much to be desired in decomposed granite...so into the water I went. They are OK on the OC dirt, never again in the SBs.
