Default Chris King Hubs Service

where do you have your chris king hubs serviced? i'm in chula vista and i think my hubs need servicing...

If you're mechanically inclined, you can do much of the basic service yourself by following these instructions: http://chrisking.com/pdfs/TechServiceManual.pdf

For bearing replacement, you'd need the Chris King special tools.

So, if you're taking them to a shop to have them serviced, make sure the shop is very familiar with King hubs. I don't know the area around Chula Vista, but it doesn't seem that far from The Path.

Just had my King hubs serviced at The Path, quick turn around time too.

ok, i've done the service thing and i think i did good... here's the thing, can anyone give me tips on adjusting the bearing preload? i can't seem to get it right...

Tighten collar finger tight, put back in frame, check for play, and do again until play is gone. Thats how I do it.
