the spacers that came w/ the fork in the bag is what you replace the ones inside with i believe.

mtnbikej: what do you charge to do that conversion?

You have one spacer in the fork already when set at 80mm. Remove that spacer and travel will increase to 100mm.

Keep in mind that the fork will flex quite a bit more in the 100mm setting.

You get the spacers because the manual and spacers are for several different forks. 26" Rebas and Recon/Revelations run up to 130mm, so they give you enough spacers to change those fork down.

foo, i have an idea...

I know of at least 2 other reba 29er riders that want to swap to 100mm also... we should have a garage day at my place.

Take apart each fork 1 at a time... and rebuild.

split the cost of oil between us all.

Let me know

You can also get it to 110mm with a $60 Pike spring conversion. Karl at The Path can hook you up. After Hurkey Creek mine is going in for the upgrade. No you do not loose the lockout but you gain a plush coil fork and half a lb.

This looks interesting. Let me know how it goes. If it works, then I want to do it on my Reba.

The Pike conversion is nothing new, there has been much talk of it on the MTBR 29 forum....that was like six months ago before there were any forks available over 100mm. Karl runs his Reba with a conversion.

100 is flexy enough i dont think i would go 110, as for the conversion chewy lives accross the street from me and it is super easy to up the travel on those things. I dont know why you need special red rum oil??? i have a bunch of 7wt and 5wt at my house if anyone can find the exact reason for red rum oil
