Default what the crap is tst

I just got a new 55ata and cant see a big difference when I was playing around with the tst knob. Does anyone know what the gold knob does, any help would be better then what I'm working with now

It is a adjustable compression damping dial.

I would say close it out for climbing when standing and open for techy downhill. You may need to check the air pressure setting if it's not doing anything when you close it.

well its marz so it prob doesnt work I think it is supposed to act semi locked out when it is on

Two different forks. The Super T is the bomb (excuse the pun) because of it's open bath technology. Marz has had trouble with their air forks being a bit spotty and to the best of my knowledge haven't quite sorted that out yet.

TST-5 has 5 positions. IMHO, only three of them are of any use to me, with the ones at the extremes being the most useful.

The one furthest counterclockwise has the least damping (most responsive) and is the one I usually leave it set on. The one at the clockwise extreme is close to a lockout, but has a very small amount of travel. I use it for times when I'd like to keep suspension movement at a minumum like when I'm climbing on fairly smooth trails.

The newer Micro-TST seems like it would be much more useful, but I have no heartache with the TST-5.
