Awsome! tell your buddy to go check it out. As far as you turning into his wrench.... I think if you're the one who is turning him onto the sport then I'm sure you'll have to do your share of helping him out too. Hopefully he will be interested/curious enough to work on it himself. Or just stop talking to him, that'll work too.

If he doesn't end up getting that bike, I definitely recommend not getting the Dart fork. I had the Dart3 on my bike originally and it was like riding a rigid or something. I don't know about the tora though. Good luck.

that link was a joke. sorry.

thanks for the info on the dart. i'm using that advice for myself as well. i've been tempted to get one for the rigid ss. i had an rst on the hardrock, and it was about like the rigid i have now. i think it worked for about 5 rides.

Looks like a totally different bike to me. My internet sleuthing skills noticed a Silver crown and what appeared to be Orange lowers on the fork. Silver bars as well as V-brakes and not discs. Silver spokes on Silver hoops and a big 'ol comfort saddle of some sort.

I don't know why you aren't just all over that deal.

i started another thread with the crosspost on that one. he sent it to me, and i was like, dude, that's why you shouldn't buy anything off craigslist.

Oh, I didn't even notice that bike wasn't the same bike. I guess I should slow down a bit.
