Default Tiny hole in bite valve

There is a hole in the bite valve of my pack. It's just a tiny tiny little hole, possibly from ....biting it. Anyways I have to blow water back into the water pack so that water does not leak out of the hole in the valve. Do I need to buy an entire new pack or can I use something to fill the hole? Am I just stupid for wondering if some sort of glue will suffice? It's just a tiny hole and if I can use super glue or some sort of camelbak bite valve glue.... it'd be wonderful.

BTW it's not the actual camelbak brand. Nalgene I believe is the brand and the hole itself can detactch from the water pack so maybe I can just buy a new hose? Although I'm still looking for that super camelbak bite valve glue.

Thanks

Just buy a valve. Not sure what the id is on the hose on yer pack but most shops/sporting good/on-line stores sell just the valve. If the hose on yer pack has the same id as a Camelbak then a valve from a Camelbak will work. Otherwise ...

If a local store does not have it you can order a valve straight from Nalgene

Default Replace with a new valve or fix it for now.

My Camelbak formed a drip problem recently and it was due to a small tear on the side of the valve.

Seeing that a new valve is $6 locally, I will probably buy one soon. Meanwhile, I fixed it temporarily by wrapping the throat of the valve with several loops of E-tape to cover the torn portion.

Also for $10, they also sell the valve with the hose attached it wrapped by a black formable sleeve that supposed to hold position to make it hands-free. Sounds like a good idea, but I don't know how it will work during technical sections where I move my head around quite a bit and it might get in the way.
