Default 04' Marzocchi 888 overhaul???Incycle???

I need to get my fork checked out or even rebuilt. I was thinking INCYCLE...but which one has the best mechanic for fork rebuilds? I would prefer to go to the pasadena (closer to home). Or any other LBS near rosemead or west covina. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

If you send it to marzocchi for rebild it comes with new seals and an oil change, does your fork need new seals or an oil change. Its really not that hard to do it yourself, you just need to know what your doing, maybe have someone you know that knows how to do it help you.

So..$120 for new seals and a oil change?!? That sounds very expensive. I don't know anyone..which is why I'm looking to take it to a LBS or marzocchi. Thanks for the heads up.

The thing is...
I took a crash at thefontana race #3 and i think there is something loose internaly. The fork makes a noise when i hit bumps the suspension is a bit sticky..and from what the guy at incycle told me...i might have a bent stanction.

I have a Marzocchi super T and one of the quick release clamps( qr 20) broke. It took 4 weeks to get a new one ( well two) at a cost of 80.00!

Sounds like I'll be taking a trip to THE PATH. A bit further than what i wanted to do...but the price and turn around time is just right!

they said they will get it done thursday... i felt it was kinda high, but i was there to pick a few "take-off" bike parts... so i thought i would give them a try... not sure if you called... but switchback can also do it too, they quoted me a straight 80 for it all... parts and labor... call them and also ask about their lead times...

You might look into garage works. Tracy or Steve. That is just another option.
They are kind of like pushed they do mods that make your shocks better.
They might even hook you up if you mention my name. They are cool.
All of the other places are cool to. Its really up to.
When I do a rebuild on my forks and shocks I up grade them.

I'll try and give them a call tomorrow.

a lot of good options...I think that to send it to Marzocchi you save time because all the parts are at their facility. you get what you pay for.
if it is purely oil and seals, you can do it yourself, with adult supervision or most shops should be able to handle it, but with "loose" and "bent" in the mix the cost may go up. OR Marzocchi will take your old fork for a discount on a 2008 model...in 2006 i sent in my 2001 Super T which was bent, got a 2005 170mm 888RC for 500.00, just throwing out more options

If you call Pasadena Incycle, talk to Brian, you should get a straight answer on turn around time, parts availability, etc.
