So I am finally accumulated all the parts to put my SS back together and decided that it had to be tubeless like all of the other bikes. Si I decided to hook up my delgado X's with the Stans kit as it will work with these rims so I say Why Not
Ft wheel done great the rear tire will not seat using Co2 cartridges so I grabbed a presta/Schrader converter thing and head off to the gas station with another 2 oz of Stans sealant. I add the additional taking into account that most of the 1st 2oz. has gone everywhere except staying in the tire while trying to get it so seal. After a little work the tire seats and I figured that I would take it up to arond 45 PSI to seat the tire...All is good I put the tire in the back area of the TOWRAG close the hatch and I hear the loudest BOOM from inside... Yes I said INSIDE the vehicle![]() . The back window is dripping sealant, the tire is completely off the rim and blown inside out, and I am hightailing it home to get some cleaner to clean the mess ...Good times For Sure... By the way, on a side note the Sprayaway glass cleaner from Costco is great for removing Stan's form anything from glass, carpet and even leather.. I laughed my @$$ off after cleaning it all up and I thought you may also get a chuckle out of it... Sorry No Pics as I was busy cleaning the mess before it absorbed into my interior...

Stan has been my best buddy ever for over 2 years but one time he decided to leave me stranded on the trail when he mysteriously dissappeared. I kinda didn't check on him in over 6 months. I threw in a tube and brought him back into my life once I got home.

What should I put here?

I have a pair of patagucci pants that I was wearing while putting on different tires before racing downieville last year and had a somewhat less explosive situation, but the Stans ended up leaking out and getting all over my pants
. Since I was camping I didn't have access to washing machine or anything for another week or so. The stains are still there 8 months and many washings later.... good luck!

I still remember the Toad Festival the year it was in Aliso. Eveyone was quiet and lined up waiting for the start. All of a sudden there was a loud BANG. There was a guy with his tire wrapped around the chain and seat stay. Also the person next to him had his eyes wide open and was covered in Stans goo. Gota love Stan!

You will have no issues running Stans rims... I have arches on my RIP and 355's on my DOS and never had a problem... I am just over the Stans Kit... the right rim a little yellow tape and 2oz. is all you need. ![]()
