Default DT Swiss RWS TB Skewers

Just picked-up one of these for my front fork and plan on getting the 10mm for my rear hub.

This skewer replaces the QR (not compatable will all hubs). Nice product that I wanted to pass along.

DeeZee. Any discernible differences in handling? Or is it just easier to torque and take off?

I have not used them in years. I had a Hadley 9mm through bolt that required an allen to take on and off.

But as far as I can remember it makes a difference

Rob, thanks. I guess I'm wondering what "works real well" means. Like, it tracks better, holds a line better, feels less noodly...

from QR to through bolt will stiffen things up. Also it is way stonger

stiffens things up a little... just put one on my reba... it doesn't turn a flexy fork into a stiff one, but it's noticeable

I haven't done a before and after test on this bike with a different set of wheels. Everything it stiff though, no flexing.

I was just looking at these yesterday at The Path. Although I am sure the benefits for the front skewer is significant, I was looking for one for the rear. I initially thought they were a quick release, but I was surprised to find that it's just a wing bolt, so to speak. For rear applications, I think I'll just stick with a normal bolt-on axle. But if I was using a QR in the front, I think these would be a worthwhile upgrade if you have a compatible hub.

was the key thing for me I just couldn't go back to QR but breaking out the tools to take off the wheel was getting tiresome

Default DeeZee starts every post

in the subject line and then continues right along with his sentence in the body. WHY? Literally every post is like that. It's a total pain in the ass when you're reading the emails from the site, because words are always missing.

Sorry dude [\rant]

So when you are getting your anodized green version?

To get this little diss fest back on track. I'd be interested in one of these for my Reba/WTB Laser Disc set up.

Which hubs do the Through Bolts work on? They work on all DT hubs? The website doesnt explain much.
