I decieded to ditch the 3 speed setup I was running for 4x to give me a little more top end. I tryd running a 12-22 9 speed cog but couldnt clear the 12 with the chain line. It wasnt a big deal to take apart the cassette and ditch the 22 but is anyone else getting all 9 gears on a blk market frame I prefer the 8 speed anyways because I didnt need the huge gear on the back.

Well, the Black Market Riot that I had, which you may have seen
, had a 9-speed Shimano cassette with a 12 tooth small cog. If I remember correctly, the overall width of an 8-speeed cassette is the same as a 9-speeed cassette.
