Default Any Ideas What This Is?

Looking to do a ss on the cheap, I ran into this:

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/bik/567761084.html

It doesn't look like it even has posts for v-brakes, but it looked kinda interesting to me.

Any ideas what brand that is?

or just an old coaster brake.....

rear hub spacing is probably only 116mm (old coaster spacing) so you may need to do some frame mods anyway....

You could weld on brake bosses or you could run drum brakes. Building one up into a decent bike isn't too difficult. Neil over at Adrenaline runs discs on his cruiser while I have bosses welded on the chainstays.

The stays were easy to bend with a 2x4 to fit the width of another rear wheel.

I don't think so. The brakes are a big issue for me. I started thinking about finding someone who could weld and then it started sounding like a lot of $$$ just to get it dirt worthy.

Drums aren't really an option. I have an extra wheelset and I'm not about to rebuild one with a drum hub.

I was thinking the seat tube looked like it was angled way back.
