Although it's been said, I'll repeat it.

The brakes need to be bled properly. If done properly, your brakes will work very well.

The rubbing will mostly go away after you break in the pads. This will come in time. Nonetheless, you still may experience a slight bit of rubbing. This is normal.

If you or someone else contaminated the pads with some kind of oil or brake fluid, you'll need to replace the pads and clean the rotors with isopropyl alcohol.

Otherwise, unless there is something wrong with a particular component, just ride the bike as it is. If you find your abilities exceed the bike, or you simply have money to burn, then you should find stuff to upgrade.
