Default t dub's new rig

This is what happens when you combine me with a new custom frame, a bunch of sushi and sake, and a bunch of beer, Auk, and a few hours in the shop.

weight is 29 pounds

top tube 22.4 inches

seat tube 15 inches and 74 degrees

head angle 66 degrees

Bottom bracket height 13 inches.

140 mm travel front and rear

dual coil springs

quad bearings

I am thinking it may work out for super d.

Sorry for the bad phone pic.

Not quite all night, but now that I'm up again, my head hurts.

Nice bike, congrats! I'm surprised the handlebars aren't on backwards and the f & r hubs aren't reversed. Saki power!

Since you're the path expert, what would you recommend I replace my ancient 01 Z1 with on my 01 Id? It's so flexy, compared to what's out now-a-days. It goes on some Chris Kings with QR's. Maybe that's part of the problem...who knows!

You may need to go to a thru axle hub. I know that may not be what you want to hear. I would look at a Pike, maybe the coil U-turn version.

Tani,

What size shock are you running?

What is the frame model name. (Though it is custom.)

I think the shock is 7 7/8 by 2.

The frame is a lower, slacker El Ciclone.

I was afraid you were going to say that but I think you're right. Considering my svelte 208 lbs., of course a QR would be flexy. Funny how times and technology changes. back then, a Z1 was know as bomb proof, stiff and the choice of many free riders. Now, it's like a thin little spaghetti fork. Thanks for the suggestion!

You like the Pike over Fox forks? Interesting, thanks again!

This is pretty funny. I can't read or watch movies late at night b/c I'll pass out. Especially with any alcohol. But if I'm building a bike I'll stay up till the sun comes up to finish.

Nice bike btw.

So did you put that thing together after you kicked me out last night? Thanks for the hookup on the race face cranks, chain and sprocket. When I came back from dinner I drove past your place and it looked like the lights were still on. Nice rig
