Thanks Sam, much appreciated.
What is the difference do you know between the Stroker Trail, and the Stroker Ryde? I see there is about a $35 difference between the two, the Trails being the more expensive. Is it an economy version (Rydes) of the Trail, kinda like the Juicy series of brakes?

Rydes are more the OEM line, the economy version. They don't have the handy dandy lever adjust, which I really like. I believe there is another difference, but I can't remember what that is.

BTW, the Strokers were super easy to set up. The rear caliper has not needed any adjustment or attention. When they're on, they're on, but the sticking front piston annoyed me too much to love them.

I really do like the Hayes products. Its strange, I've heard some people complain, and some have had the same results as I have had, I must have been lucky enough not to get monday or friday products. But the 9's are a little tired, they've served me very well, and are going on to easier duties on the hardtail, which gets ridden once a month at best.

But those do look nice
I mentioned the price because these will set you back $600 per pair.

I was talking about the Formula's earlier and obviously you need some pics to see that if you get the Greg Minnaar model of The One, you will be blingin'

The Formula's do look pretty. But in another thread, my wifey agreed to allow me to get some Industry Nine's set-up on the bike. If I were to drop that kinda dough on the brakes as well, my allowance would be under scrutiny, and my spending habits would be curbed.

As a happily married man, I completely understand where you are coming from. I am actually having a "discussion" with my wife as we speak about our tax return and something called an RFX.

I think these are the ones I believe I'm going to get. Did you order yours from the internet, or did you pick 'em up from a shop...if a shop, which one?
