The same way you'd build a 26er..

Get a frame, fork, wheels, components...

First type in either www.ninerbikes.com or www.lenzsports.com and then the rest is all history. BTW there are many other mfgs. out there that aren't necessarily bad choices....Those are just the ones that come to mind first. If you have questions about parts, frames, etc. go talk to The Path in Tustin...They know their shiat.

True that.

How about one of these then. Rigid Fork, and a careful parts spec can get you under a G.

See if you can borrow a bike first, I know a lot of people love their 29'ers, but then I also know a lot of people who don't....

If not, bikes like the Raleigh, KHS, etc, offer an inexpensive way to try it out!

Did everyone sell their singlespeeds?

The only reason I'll get rid of either of my 29ers is to get something better With 29" wheels!
