Default Experiences with M975 XTR Hubs?

Is anybody here using the current model XTR M975 hubs?

I was thinking about using them for a wheelbuild for my soon-to-be 29er race bike.

They're pretty light at 145g front, 270g rear. Engagement is at 36 points. They are centerlock compatible, which is nice since I'm planning on using Shimano brakes anyways. But the biggest factor is their cost. They seem to be going for about $225 on eBay for the pair.

I know they may not be as bling as some other options out there, but that's a lot of bang for the buck it seems.

Any real world experiences with these?

I just got a pair and laced them up to Mavic XC717 and they are real nice. They took a solid pound off my bike, roll forever, and chicks dig them.
If I had four hands, I'd give them four thumbs up!

I have the new XTR wheel set on my Yeti ASR-SL so i imagine that I am using those XTR hubs as well. I am really liking them. I have a Chris King Mavic 819 wheel set also. And as you say the XTR are not a bling, however the XTR wheel set is lighter and so far has taken all the abuse i can throw at them.
