So I am selling some couches on craigs list and a international rep for a bike company contacted me and is willing to trade bike parts. He said he can get anything, just to let him know what I wanted. I am selling the couches for 200 bucks. I figure if he has got the hookups, he can probably get stuff for cheap. I dont know what to ask him for. I am kind of looking for a light system, he said he can get nite rider stuff easily, but I dont know how much night riding I am going to be doing. Any thoughts on what I should ask for?

I love Light & Motion but they are pricey.

ALot of people like their Trinewts.

I've been checking these out lately by Exposure Lights.

Here's a great shoot-out of LED lights fresh off the press by MTBR.

LED is getting so cheap and bright. It's probably the way to go these days.

Cost on a trinewt is right around 200 bucks.

Yeah, what allison said. Brake pads are cheap, Juicy Carbons ain't. Go for glory and see what shows up.

Brakes are agood idea. Maybe a nice hubset.

I went for the light system. He is trading me a niterider HID system. He said he would grab whatever extra he had laying around at work tomorrow also.

May get some other goodies I wasnt thinking of.

guest bike- beater that you wont mind being abused by over confedent/underskilled riders. or some bling parts to sell to us for cheap. hint:super cheap fs frame for the guest bike im tryin to build.

SWEET. So the guy came today to trade for the couches. We were selling the couches on craigs list for 200 bucks. He gave me some carbon fiber handlebar spacers and a niterider moab light system. I looked it up on pricepoint, its selling for 540 bucks. Its used, and he couldnt find the charger but everything else is there. the battery is dead but it has just enough juice that when I plug in the light the leds under the hid bulb come on for a second. Im looking at a charger on ebay right now, even if i have to but it new from niterider, its only 80 bucks. I think i got a pretty sweet deal.
