Stan's is bad for your tires in some instances. Warranty won't cover that.

See here
.

It looks like the bead on your tires is pretty torn up. I don't think sealant will do that.

looks like you broke all the belts that hold the tire together.
did you hit something hard enough to bend the rim?

I've seen it before and it's not isolated to Maxxis.

They talk on a non tubeless tires, this is a UST tire that should works properly as a tubeless.

I had a good experiance with Maxxis tires (UST and converted) for the last few years, it's the first time I see it on a UST tire.

I was just using that an example of how manufacturers approach the subject. Basically, they leave you on your own with that.

I've had the same problem with 3 Specialized Fast Trak S-WORKS tires. Stans eats the inside of the tire.

Specialized makes a fluid you can use in tubeless tires.

Not sure if it'll have the same problem in Maxxis tires. Worth a shot maybe.

oh dear. didn't want to hear that. i'm running stans on my fast trak tires on my niner. the bike shop set them up when they built up the bike and i assume they used stans and not the specialized stuff. eek. i'll keep my eyes peeled. (as painful as that sounds.)
