Default Another Nine'r Build....mmmm Carbon Fiber

Just got back from ANOTHER very long trip to Taiwan, and in my office was a nice new frame. 2 hours later and this is the result. Not super light, but not bad for a 20" frame with mostly alloy parts hung on it (excuse the pedals).....I'd go for a ride right now, but the sky's just opened! (AGAIN!)

99.9% Carbon with the exception of 2 inserts in the headtube, the internal BB shell and 2 tiny inserts in the carbon dropouts. Basically made the same way as the Felt carbon road bikes.....It's made up of 3 pieces, Front triangle, seatstay and chainstay, we call it modular monocoque.

Nice steep XC angles. I don't the frame will have any problems with rock-it. That carbon frame is much stonger than it's aluminum counterparts. Your wheels on the otherhand.....
If not rock-it, where else are you going to ride her? The loop?

True, but It's all about impact strength, this thing is crazy high modulus carbon, way stiffer than any of my other bikes. BUT one ding and it's all over! A little different from my 7" rig!
