Bikes don't kill bunnies

Default Kiddie Trailer Hitch options

So I've been using my cheapo Bike Nasbhar kid trailer for a while, with one major problem. The stupid chainstay clamp system requires that I ride with my left foot about 3" further forward on the pedal than normal in order to ensure I don't hit the clamp with my foot. Obviously this majorly messes with my pedal stroke and after 8 or so miles becomes a major downer.

I was talking with Pakiha over Christmas and he said his burley trailer uses a hitch that mounts to a replacement skewer. I have no problems fabbing something up on the trailer end of things to adapt a different hitch system. So does anyone know where I can pick up a Burley or similar hitch system that will include the skewer and the hitch part for the trailer?

Thanks,
Chris

Next time I search a little harder b4 posting up. REI.com has all the various Burley hitch options on their site.

Check on the Burley website for a dealer near you and give them a call to see if they have the alternate hitch in stock. If not you can always order it from Burley direct. We picked one up when Performance bought Surpergo. It works great.
