Default Anyone familiar with Magura Julie SL Disc?

Jenson has them on special $69 each

might be an affordable alternative for someone building a bike on a budget...

Northshore you may need to get on this bro.

I picked up a set of used Magura Marta SL on MTBR. They are pretty darn light. I like the lever feel. No ride time yet sorry. Hopefully soon. I am concerned about having a 160mm rotor up front. My Yeti had 200mm rotors.

I have marta SL's on my RIP... Best brakes I own... I have juicey 7'son the socom, Formula K-18 on the Dos and SS Hayes on the yeti but by far my fav's are the Magura's... I hear of a lot of people having challenges with bleeding ect...They have been bullit proof for me ... I can not see the ad but If the price is right I would say go for it...

Here's a good link: http://jensonusa.com/store/product/B...+Brake+Oe.aspx

It's the OE (original equipment) version but still a pretty good price.

I installed a pair on Ezzyrider's daughter, Julia's, bike. I like them. They are better than the Hayes Nines IMO. Just make sure you measure the length of the hoses. Since they are take offs they might be too short for your bike. Happened to me when I bought a pair from them. Had to drive 40+ miles (one way) to pick them up the first time then back again to have them swap for a longer pair. 90 miles with today's gas prices will make them a little less of a good deal. Still worth it though.
