Default play in shock bushings... need help

Hi guys,

My 06 motolite has developed play in the bushings that connect the shock to the frame. Are new bushings easy to get a hold of? What if it's the shock that has become rounded, is it throw away or what?

Sorry, time for a new bike. I told you a Turner would have been a better choice.

For the reducers call Titus

stop by your local bike shop, they should have the parts to get you squared away... new shock du bushing and spacers may be needed

Default eyelet

the du is the inner bushing that presses directly into the shock eyelet. The du usually whares out before the silver alloy reducers.

I have experience with the outer bushing wearing out really fast on the lower Ih bikes I had a really good ride out of new bushings made out of nylon the same grade used for motorcycle sliders. It gave just enough to not wear out fast but kept the play out of the back end. Take exact dimensions of your bushings or just take them to a machine shop. You wont regret it.
