Default My new bike build...

I am finally going to build a new bike. I have a huge gap in my stable, and really don't have an appropriate superD bike. So it is time to fill that gap!

The bike:
Lenz Sport Lunchbox w/RS Monarch shock (tumbled finish with clear ano) (still debating a Ti sprung Fox Vanilla R)

The build:
White Bros Fluid 150 Fork
Hope brakes (M4 front, Mono Mini rear)
Hope hubs (36H, 150mm rear, 20mm Thru front)
Hope headset
Stans Flow rims (36H)
X0 Grip shift
X9 RD
X9 FD

most of the rest of the stuff will be standard fare.

i have been e-mail begging Mike Curiak to let me get my grubby hands on his new tires. i am sure he won't let me have them for any price. this bike NEEDS those tires!

i have lots of time to mentally masturbate over the build details because the frame should be delivered like 3 months from now.

soooo... lets get to it. questions, comments, drivel?

should be fun to build up and ride fo sho.

I love the idea of 150mm rear wheel and 36 hole hoops for this type of bike

ps. Take the sticker off that says Lunch Box. Worst name in the history of the sport

He needs a bike that is like low 30lbs to climb and that still meets his demands for being a strong (literally) descender.

i liked the DT Swiss shock, but have talked to Mike C and he is suggesting the RS Monarch. he also rides a Ti sprung Vanilla R.

as stated in the post, i am still debating the Van. i like the feeling of coil, but the weight would suck.

i stand corrected!!! i thought that the shock that was on that bike was the DT. i guess it was the RS shock that i liked so much at Ibike.

i wonder if the DT shock was on the Bohemoth that i rode.... that was a very nice handling bike as well!
