That's a long time to stay away from one of your favs. Besides, you've earned it.

True, but as I learned in the weight-loss thread... eating out at lunch once a week definitely hurts the weight. We've been doing pretty well.

I think once we start commuting to work a few days a week I'll need to eat there just to keep weight on!

Justin,

I can't wait for your RR on this thing... would love to get a 'moth, worried that the short CS version will be a pain on steep climbs (front wheel lifting or wandering).

i expect super steep climbs will be challenging. the combination of short stays and a 6" fork (as opposed to the 5" that most are using) will make the front light on really steep stuff.

the bikes we rode at Ibike were really sweet and had shorter forks.

this thing is slack!

We were just talking about that this morning! He said he was manualling and stuff really easy, so I imagine climbing might be a bit of a problem. But, the bike isn't going to be his climber. It's an AM bike, which obviously should climb well, but isn't the primary purpose.

Justin's climbed Noble on his Socom, so despite the short stays, I'm sure that the Box will be much better to climb

But, we'll find out for this and next weekend, and then Noble shortly after!

There should be at least a race report this weekend and then Keyesville.. but, the following weekend is all fun rides before the NORBA Nats at Fontana.

Justin, you gonna take the Box out to the Newb ride?

I don't know about your schedule, but I could only find 2 free dates on ours in the next 3 months: Sunday 3/23 or 5/10 or 5/11.

That's going to be the nicest 29er I've ever seen. I can't wait to see it finished! Now 29ers are becoming appealing.

I think we will have a few open weekends in april.

Once June rolls around it's all about some fun, though. Unfortunately it'll be too freaking hot

I think we'll be in UT Memorial weekend (hopefully). I looked at our calendar earlier, but don't remember any dates anymore.

Hoping to hit up Noble a few times around then for the flowers!

Got overgrowth?

You betcha! It's pretty sweet. I've never used anything similar, but I liked it!! Just tried it out briefly, but it's realllly easy to use.

That's at Bootleg Canyon, just outside of Vegas. It's kinda sketchy at first cause it takes a bit of time for the teeter to roll down

Justin - You wanted the bike so bad that you got the wrong size? That is what I heard through the grape vine.... Is it a M and not a L?
