if you aren't going to go big on the bike, the Bohemoth is a great bike!!!!

some day the fork manufacturer idiots and hub knobs will build a front end that is 135mm spacing for extra strength... i am not holding my breath.

i have been sending emails back and forth with Mike Curiak and i guess his fork was limited to 140 at Interbike, so i may wind up copying him.

this bike isn't really for DH. it will fill a huge gap in my current stable. i currently have a steel HT 29er for XC, and a Socom for racing DH.

i would take a sunday over the diablo. just me though. the sunday is a pretty sweet bike (i hope dino doesn't read this thread) hahahahaha!

Justin, you're too much Mann for the Minis. I'm trying Hope M4s for the first time right now. Nicer lever feel and the modulation is better than Shimanos. But not sure if long term the 4 piston designed is worth it. I can see how keeping them perfectly aligned/drag free over time could be a headache with having 4 pistons.

2 piston calipers Shimanos are so bullet proof. Mineral Oil, easy to bleed/setup, not crazy expensive. Maybe Shimanos with some aftermarket levers would be pretty dope and cheaper.

So the frame came in yesterday...

the wheels had been sitting around waiting for a home, built them earlier this week.

ran into a few issues during building, so i don't know if she will be ready this week but i am trying. i rode her around a bit last night with no FD and unbled brakes (had to, just couldn't resist) and this thing is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need time on the bike, which is why I think you should. Practice for Keyesville!
