Default Stem Sizing?

I'm looking to swap out the stock stem on my bike and would like to know if the single degree increase would noticeably affect the performance of my steering or my stance on the bike.

Stock Stem - 7 Degree 70mm
New Stem - 8 degree 70mm

Thanks!

That about 1mm higher bar -- not noticeable.

Why do you want to change the stem? To improve climbing? Shoulders get tired? Too cramped? Feel too stretched out?

A riser bar may be a good place to start. I may have one for you!
One degree difference (i.e. stem) won't make much of a difference!

Thanks but the bike fits me perfectly. I don't like the way the one on there looks!
