Oooo....nice. I am going to be building a ~500 lumen, 4 LED, 8 watt system this week if my freakin' parts ever arrive. That Lupine sets the bar nice and high. If I get good at building MTB lights that would be a fun target.

Without researching the conversion from watts, lumens, candlepower, etc. It sounds like this would make a great moto light where one can tap into the bikes electrical system. 8" HID's are about the same price without a battery.

L&M ARC is 675 lumens. Just buy two HID lights (one helmet, one handlebar) and save yourself some money.

When all is said and done, this light will probably cost me all of $75, if that. At $400 for the TriNewt, I have to at least try.

What should I put here?

I agree... having been through three HID bulbs, and just blew another one tonight, I could have had a new light. Well, actually, I have a Trinewt on a UPS truck headed in my direction right now. My HID..... R.I.P.
