Default Busy night in Garage

We kiled it lasst night in the garage and if Intense honed honed seat tubes/and e-13 chain guides cleared swing arms she would be done. Rob ran intoa issue with the conversion of his ft wheel but both should be done in no time... Rob can post specs if he has time I have to head off to the airport and go to work to pay for this....

nice!!! as far as clearing the swingarm, if you are having a problem with the boomerang hitting the bolt for the lower pivot, i did some grinding on mine to make it clear.

e-Thirteen makes a wide backplate for bikes like the Intense that have a dropped chainstay. I used one on Carla's 6.6 and was able to get the chainguide in the proper position with no grinding.

http://aebike.com/page.cfm?action=de...=30&SKU=CH1276

She doesn't need it on her Demo. Wanna swap backplates?

Works for me... I will be out of town until late Sat night.. But let's figure out a way to get this done...

Thank you,
Jeff

I had no problem installing my e-thirteen SRS. Did you buy the ISCG old style? The new one does not work.

It sounds like you had a fun night! Seriously, I very much enjoy building up bikes - even dealing with the various challenges.

As you now know, the wide E13 base plate is the hot ticket. When I got mine, the shop in Tustin said I only needed the standard one, but after doing research on E13's site, I learned that I needed a wide plate, and so when I ordered mine, I had to insist on a wide plate.

Also sorry to hear about the lack of reaming on the seat tube. This is a fairly common problem with Intense frames. My 6.6 was delivered with a glob of weld 2" into the seat tube because they forgot to ream it. My UZZI SLX would only allow a post to be inserted in only 4", and my 5.5 only allowed 7".

I'm sure you're going to have lots of fun with the new steed!
