Dirty Stinky PATH Love
![]() |
I just put the Totem Coil on my Stinky D, and it feels REAL good!
I had the Marz 66 Light ETA on it before, and I had no complaints about it either. So, NEW Rock Shox, or Marzocchi, and I'd say your safe!

Bikes don't kill bunnies

If you don't mind the weight, the Zoke 66RC2x is nice after it gets broken in and you taylor the oil heights to your needs. Stiff, supple, and predictable.
If you want to shed a little weight, the Fox Van36RC2 is a really nice fork too. Just be sure to get an 07 or later. I went with this fork when I changed bikes (sold the Zoke with the other bike) and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm a fatass, so I blow through travel a little quicker, and not being able to adjust oil volume to compensate is different. But if you get the right spring setup, you should be able to get it dialed in pretty well. I will say that while the travel indicator on the stancion indicates I,ve bottomed the fork out, I've never felt a harsh bottom out event. Plus the bottom out resistance rate at end of travel can be changed by Fox depending upon your needs. Supposedly the Totems are nice too, but since I haven't ridden one, I couldn't tell you. Lots of good options out there these days, and if you can pick up leftover 07 stuff, you can probably find some pretty good deals. Chris |
