Default 1X9 with Eno Crankset

Curious if anyone tried running 1X9 using an ENO crankset. I'm going from SS to 1X9 (I know, blasphemy) and am anticipating problems with chain drop. Anyone suggest a good chain guide for this application would be appreciated. Oh, and the guys at the path is ordering me a Rohloff chain guide thingy. Just looking for some info. thanks

I use the Rohloff Chainguide on my Dos 1x9. It's customized (by Justin) because I've got a 28T chainring. When I was crashed into at the start of Counting Coup (that guy must be out there reading my posts about him taking me out and not feeling bad, don't you think? I bring it up like weekly) I lost both bottles, sunglasses, etc.. someone stepped on my top tube and I was bleeding from many locales, but my chain never dropped off.

thanks allison. Sounds like the rohloff will work fantastically especially since I am not going to get run over and stepped on (at least I don't plan to).

Hope you've completely healed by now.
