Default RSVP integration with Trailhead forum

As the title says, we can now have the RSVP functionality in individual threads that are in Trailhead.

In the trailhead forum you have the option of either new thread (same as always) or new ride. You'll need to have a set date for the new ride since it asks you for a date. Other then that it's pretty self-explanatory.

You're welcome. I'm hoping it'll encourage more people to use the gallery.

In the Trailhead forum, all I see is New Thread. However, I see that I can create a new ride in the calendar. When doing that, does it automatically post to the Trailhead forum?

Ah, thanks for that! Looks like the new ride button was lost with the last update which also included template updates. I'll put that back later today.

Yes, the new ride button the homepage makes a new thread in the trailhead forum which includes the RSVP feature and adds an entry into the calendar.

Edit: New Ride button is back now.

Are photo uploads unlimited? Way back before I started abusing my mountain bike photo site I uploaded a trip on MTBR and then ran out of photo space So, that's when I decided to abuse my website login to an r/c photo site that I had access to unlimited uploads to and have ever since just used that (I did pay the overlord last year and am selling him my old bike for a killer deal this year). Also MTBR stopped allowing outside access of photos.

Anyway, just curious. I don't usually have time to upload photos to both that site and this one, but just curious for future reference! I can start abusing your webspace also if you want, though.

Thanks.

BTW, new banner? Was it ever decided if that was gonna change on a monthly basis or anything? Just curious.

For now photos are unlimited. We have 20gigs to work with right now and have used about 6 so far. That can always be upgraded later on if need be. That's not to say there won't be limits later - but for now keep on using the gallery as much as you'd like More content is never a bad thing.

Yup, new banner. Didn't really decide on a hard rotation schedule. Gonna try it and switch it up periodically to keep it fresh. Perhaps every month or two. It's like a surprise
