Would be nice to have a notification go out to group members when something new get's posted to one... otherwise no way of knowing to check it. Maybe it's there but I didn't see any subscription tools, or anything in user panel options about it.

that's what I'm talking about, it doesn't send emails to group members as far as I can tell

Did you try and make a group where users had to join? But you're right if it doesn't send out emails or pm's
